Garfield leaving tech group next year to advocate for Netflix

CEO of Information Technology Industry Council has represented Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook and other industry players since 2009 Garfield Dean Garfield will end his nine-year run as CEO of the $14 million-revenue Information Technology Industry Council in February to become head of global public policy for the streaming video service Netflix.
